Dancing with Project Green

Yesterday evening I was reading in the den when I realized I was wearing a green skirt, and the comforter across the room was also green, and why not just play with a little green photographic goodness? So I set the camera how I wanted it and asked George to stand on the sofa and click away while I twirled in a circle. Such an obliging man. :)

That's great! My husband thinks that my project photos are strange.

I really like how the twirling motion was captured.

Your husband is a good man!:)
Clever idea...

Hey, I was wondering if you ever got a publisher for your book "Parting the Waters". I would love to purchase a copy...is it available yet?

Thanks, Karen. My husband already knows I'm strange, so nothing I ask surprises him. :)

Stacey, thanks for asking about the book. I approved the cover this week, and it should be available by September!

Thank you, Carletta.

George is awesome! And you are creative beyond my abilities! What a great shot!

And Zane says thanks for the points. After I explained he couldn't really cash them in for anything. Unless we come to Texas. Then you're buying him ice cream.

I like that you let the motion show through in this instead of a sharp, frozen image. I've discovered the beauty of this by accident and now try to develop it a little more. I look forward to stopping by here to see what you post.

Don't all girls need to keep dancing? This shot makes me smile. As a mother of a soon-to-be 15 year old, I love to see her in moments like this. Just the way God intended her to be!
