Broadway Center Stage

George took these shots for me weekend before last at the Saturday night performance of the Broadway musical revue I choreographed for Marshall High School's choirs. Still photos can't do justice to singing and dancing, but at least you'll get a flavor of the evening. These are some talented kids!
The opening number: "Lullaby of Broadway"
Chelsea and Ross: hosts for the evening
"You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile" from Annie
"Adelaide's Lament" from Guy's and Dolls. "A poyson can develop a cowold." She was adorable.
Ah, the infamous jazz square. Can't have a proper Broadway show without a few of those tossed in. This shot and the next two are from "Give My Regards to Broadway."

The soft shoe section of the song.

Austin sings the solo.
"Anything You Can Do" from Annie Get Your Gun.
Haley and Willisa

"Memory" from Cats. Not an easy song, and Cassie nailed it.
Heather
"Popular" from Wicked. These girls are freshman, and boy did they sparkle. Impressive.
"And All That Jazz" from Chicago
"Ol' Man River" from Show Boat. Carlos loves to perform. He lit up the stage all evening.
"Hair" from Hair. Notice how they're flinging their, um, hair. Fun and entertaining number. Definitely on the lighter side.
Callie and Chris perform "All I Ask of You" from Phantom of the Opera. They were wonderful. And cute.
The Finale: "If They Could See Me Now" & "Everything's Coming Up Roses"

Sandi Parks, the choral director, and I taking our bow. We may have been tired, but we weren't blurry. George had the camera on the wrong setting. :)

And that's all, folks.
